Mara's old enough for me to have real conversations with her now. It's a trip. They're not real conversations, but I can ask her what she wants and if she's feeling okay, and she can answer me just fine.

Jacen, on the other hand, is quiet. He barely even cries. I thought something was wrong with him, but the doctor said we were just used to Mara and that some babies are just quiet. I think I like this kid. He sleeps. And when he sleeps, I can sleep.
